Half way through the Booster Blitz, I began to write a post about how disappointed I was with Moola.com for not being prepared for the Blitz. I am now rewriting the post because even though the Blitz began very poorly, the admins were able to fix everything. It took them 2hrs to do it, but at least it was handled.
If you missed the first 2 hours of the Blitz, don't worry you didn't miss much. The number of people attending the booster blitz escalated very quickly, there was over 2191 people actively playing the games. But everything began to crash. I do not know exactly what went wrong, but it seemed like the servers were unable to handle the traffic.
The site began to slow down and lag like crazy. It took over a minute just to get to choosing a level and then longer to find a game. Although that the lag was bad, what made it worse was that the site began logging users out at random, so if you were just about to choose a level, you might have needed to start from the login page again. Worse still, I got kicked out of a game I was about to win a few times and lost the moola I was risking. To top it all off, the booster wheel was hardly ever seen.
But to the admins credit, they were able to fix everything. At about the 3hr mark, everything began to run at blazing speeds again, faster then Britney's Spears sister can get pregnant! Best of all the Booster wheel began to shell out bonuses again. It still pisses me off that I wasted time trying to play Moola when everything was just broken. I just hope the admins are better prepared the next time around.
I know that people like to say "stop complaining, it is free money" but in actuality it is not free money. We, the users, spend our time on the site viewing ads which in return makes the site money. So, no it is not free money. If it is free money, we would not have to spend our time watching 30 second ads just to make a penny.
Anyways, the admins fixed the lag issues and they will also be looking into the time out problems and refund people the money they may have unjustly lost in a game.
I got about two and half hours worth of gaming in this time around. My balance is currently at $13.

Booster Blitz Tips
As you may already know, the Booster Blitz is coming up very soon. The Blitz is a great way for you to get your games in and increase your chances of making more money. All you do is play lots of games and hope you get an booster wheel spin between each game. To help you out during the Booster Blitz, here are a few tips that I learned from the last event.
1. DO NOT start a game and not make your first move just to get to the Booster wheel. If you get caught, an admin will take all your booster winnings away from you. This happened during the last Booster Blitz.
2. If you are playing Gold Rush and after the first couple of turns you know that it will end up as a tie, I suggest that you let the time run out so that you can move on to the next game. The more time you save, the more games you can play.
3. DO NOT complain if you do not get a spin after your first few games. The spins are not guaranteed after each game. So some people may not get a spin at all during the event. Keep playing, you may just be lucky if you play enough games.
4. If you plan on visiting the forums, open a separate window to do so. Use one window to play the games, and you can use the other to browse the forums. Once again, this will allow you to maximize your time during the Booster Blitz.
5. If you are playing with a large balance, the booster blitz is a great time to find new opponents on higher levels. Make sure you have enough money in your balance to play those higher levels.
6. Don't forget to have fun. It's just a game. Don't get to frustrated. If you don't have luck today, there is always another Booster Blitz
7. If you are not doing well on a higher level, play a lower level and just hope for the booster wheel.
8. Most importantly Do Not forget about other priorities. Sure the Booster Blitz will allow you to PROBABLY make some additional cash, but this does not mean that you should ditch everything else in your life. There will be more Booster Blitz's in the future.
Best of luck to everyone. If you have any tips you would like to share, please add them in the comments (you don't need to register to comment)

Post Booster Blitz
It's all over. The Booster Blitz has ended. Now that I have experienced it first hand I can tell you, the best thing about the event is the fact that everyone is on playing. I was playing Gold Rush most of the time and it was such a great experience being able to challenge different people on the higher levels. I think the highest number of people I saw playing was about 2300. Pretty amazing when you compare it to the average of 400-600 during a normal day.
The booster spins are great and all, but I was disappointed in the amount of spins I got. But at the end of the day, it is bonus money, so I shouldn't complain. During the Blitz, I received a total of 41 spins totaling $7.50 (highest spin being $1). I was really hoping to hit a $5 spin or even better a $9 spin but no luck. I wonder if anybody got it?
I played for about 4 of the 6 hrs of the Booster Blitz (mostly because it started at 3pm over on the west coast and I was still at work). I played a total of 81 games (70 GR and 11 Hi/Lo). I actually played more games then I had expected. I won 40 of those games, tied on 12 of them and lost 29 games.
(Win Loss Chart Goes Here)
As for my account balance. I jumped from $70.65 at the beginning of the day and I ended the day with $104.84. My balance peaked at $113.75 during the blitz, but I went on a 5 game losing streak. Although $35 may not seem like much for some people. My balance actually increased by about 30%.
(Days Balance Graph Goes Here)
I am just happy that I finally passed the $100 mark. I hope to make another $50 in the next few days so that I can cash out soon.
How did you guys do? Good/Bad? If this was your first Blitz, did it meet your expectations?

Booster Blitz
Moola has just announced that there will be a Booster & Invite Blitz this Nov. 6th from 6pm EDT to midnight (of for those of you on the west coast like me, 3pm - 9pm PST). Like many of you, I have never experienced a booster blitz and I actually have no clue what it is. So I did a little research and I am going to share with you what I have learned.
What is a Invite Blitz?
This is the first year that Moola.com will be conducting this prize. Basically every new member that joins during the 6 hour period will not start off with just one penny, but instead they will have enough money to play on level 6 on the tower.
What is a Booster Blitz?
A Booster Blitz is an event on Moola.com where a sponsor will basically give away free money during a given time period?
How are the boosters given out?
The boosters will be given out in $2, $5, and $9 increments after some of the games you play during the Booster Blitz.
Edit: I was just informed that there are also $.25, $.50 and %.75 increments in previous Booster Blitz. So it is very likely that it will be in this coming blitz as well.
How much can I win?
This will depend on how many games you can squeeze in during the Booster Blitz as well as how lucky you are. Just for fun, let's run some conservative numbers.
Assuming it takes you 5 min to play each game and you get on average a $2 booster every 3 games. You can potentially make $48. Not a bad increase if you have a small balance.
Am I considered for a Booster after each game?
Yes, Whether you get one or not is a totally different question.
Will everyone be guaranteed a booster?
No, but there is a good chance you will get one.
How many Blitz Boosters Will Be Given Out?
As the moderator Archie mentioned "The actual number of blitz booster's given away is determined by many factors, including the number of participants. If there's a lot more traffic than expected, I think the budget will be more than expected too."
The amount of available money to be won will be announced at the latest, that day... they may also tell us how many $2, $5, and $9 available
Who is sponsoring this Blitz?
This year the blitz is sponsored by Moola.com
Will I get referral bonuses when my referrals win a booster?
Absolutely! Thats what why you should join now and sign up your friends. It will speed you up the tower and make it easier for you to make more money.
